Naomi Chase Radford 1852-1943

Funeral services for Mrs. John Radford were held at the Blust Bros. Funeral Home here Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock with the Rev. Glenn Clark, of Hancock, officiating.

Naomi chase, daughter of Stephen and Oliva Chase, was born in Iowa county, Iowa on March 30, 1852 and passed away at her home in Hancock, Iowa on September 30, 1943 at the age of 91 years and 6 months.

In 1870, she was united in marriage to John Radford at Atlantic, Iowa. To this union six children were born, James; Merl of Summitt, Utah’ Mrs. Edith Mayberry of Glendale, California; and Arthur of Hancock, Iowa. Two children, Salina and Charles preceded her in death. Her husband preceded her in death on February 27, 1913.

After her marriage she and her husband lived in Avoca where she remained until eleven years ago when she moved to Hancock where she has since made her home.
