Mrs. Duane Grulke
Dies Sunday Morning

Avoca friends of Capt. Duane Grulke were shocked and saddened Sunday to learn of the death of Captain Grulke’s wife that morning at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Grulke died in childbirth. A baby boy survives his mother.

Captain Grulke has been stationed in Texas and flew to Pennsylvania on hearing the sad news. Mrs. O. H. Grulke left Avoca Sunday night to attend the services held this morning at Harrisburg.

Captain Grulke has the sympathy of the entire community in this severe blow.
