Thomas Abram "Abe" Headlee
(August 10, 1869 - July 3, 1946)

Funeral services for Thomas Abram Headlee were held from the Blust Bros. funeral Home Sunday, July 7 at 2 pm with the Rev Ivan Bachtell in charge of the services.

Mr. Headlee died Wednesday, July 3, 1946, at the age of 76 years, 10 months, and 23 days.

He was married To Cora B. McCart on February 3, 1895. To this union were born 8 children: Clyde, Raymond, Floyd, Roy, and Carl all of Avoca; Charles of Oakland, California; Naomi Heiman of Council Bluffs, and Ruth Henderson of Avoca.

His wife preceded him in death on September 3, 1941. Three brothers and four sisters also passed on before him.

Survivors besides his children are: a brother, Joseph of Council Bluffs; two sisters Margaret Kinnamon of Council Bluffs, and Francis Richman of California; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
