Carl Sondregard 1895-1946

Carl Sondregard, 51, was killed in a logging accident at Crescent city, California, Friday, June 7th according to word received here by relatives.

Mr. Sondegard had a contract to haul logs with a lumber mill at Crescent City and apparently was killed while unloading some logs.

He was born on February 18, 1895 in Avoca, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Sondergard Sr. He lived in the Avoca community and was engaged in farming until about 10 years ago when he moved to California.

He was married to Minnie Christensen who survives him along with four children: Orville, Wendel, Carla, and Joan. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. John Sondergard Sr., two half brothers, John Sondergard of Avoca and Neubert Sondergard of Crescent City, California; and a sister, Mrs. Ida Hansen of north Hollywood, California.
