Frank Gustav Albertus 1893-1949

Funeral services for Frank Albertus, 55, were held from the Blust-Berthusen funeral home Tuesday with the Rev. Joseph Gerlt officiating. Burial was in Graceland cemetery.

Frank Gustav Albertus, a son of Gustav Albertus and his wife, Anna Sickles was born northwest of Avoca on December 16, 1893. He reached the age of 55 years, 4 months, and 29 days.

He spent his entire life in the Avoca community. He was married to Mary Hansen on September 6, 1932.

He is survived by his widow; two daughters: Elmira and Annabelle; a son, James; four sister: Matilda of Avoca; Mrs. Herman Klindt of Walnut; Mrs. John Ingwer of Harlan; Mrs. Anna Schoening of Carson; four brothers: Fred of Walnut; Charles of Shelby, Gus of Persia and harry of Woodbine.

He was preceded in death by a twin sister and a son, Frank.
