Nora L. Healy

Nora Lawrence Healy passed away suddenly at her home on January 1, 1950. She suffered a heart attack aggravated by an asthmatic condition.

She had been associated in the N. J. Healy store with her sister Nellie. Stores were closed during the funeral services.

She attended public schools and later the University of Iowa from which she graduated from a four year course in three years. She majored in mathematics.

She had taught in Mandan, North Dakota, and Osage High Schools and was principal of High School in Exira when she went into business with her brother, Tim and sister.

Her outstanding qualities were her love of God, His fellow man, and never lost faith in either.

Her entire life was marked by deep devotion to her religion, her country, her home, and her flowers.

Rev. E.J. Schuman conducted the funeral services during which he gave a very appropriate sermons. She is survived by two sisters, Minnie and Nell.
