Funeral services for Ora Schlottfeldt, 38, Marne, Iowa, farmer who died of a gunshot wound early Friday at Council Bluffs hospital, were held Friday afternoon at Avoca. Burial was at Princeton, Iowa, this morning.

Margaret Plahn, 18, who was sitting with Schlottfeldt in a car when he was fatally wounded, said yesterday he had cried, “Oh, Esther, Esther,” a few minutes before he began showing her the gun with which he was killed. Earlier in the evening he had shown her pictures of his dead wife, whose name was Esther, and of his father, who died last spring.
