Louie A. Range
Apr 21, 1896 - Nov 7, 1929Louis Range, 31, of Atlantic, Iowa, who with five other persons was injured in a train and auto crash at Twelfth street and Fifth Avenue, Sunday night, died at 4:30 am Thursday at Mercy hospital. An operation performed to move ribs that were penetrating his lungs failed to save his life.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and mr. R. Range; a brother, Ora, and a sister, Mrs. Edna Bird, all of Atlantic.
Miss Ruth Steepy, 33, 503 North Twenty-eighth avenues, Omaha, a member of the party, was reported improved Thursday morning at the Mercy hospital. Her right leg, which doctors thought would have to be amputated, has begun to knit and no amputation will be necessary.
