Beth Anne JOHNSON, age 54, of Shelby, IA, formerly of Council Bluffs, IA passed away Sunday May 11, 208 at Myrtue Hospital in Harlan, IA.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 14 at Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home in Council Bluffs with Rev. Greg Carlson, pastor of Bethany Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment was in Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
Beth Anne JOHNSON was born September 27, 1953 in Council Bluffs to Robert and Gretchen (ALBERTSON) JOHNSON.
She attended special education classes at Tinley School and Halverson, graduating in 1976. She worked at VO-DEC until 1998 when she moved to Shelby. She lived at Cherry House at REM facility, and worked at a shelted [sic] workshop, both of which she enjoyed and considered her second home.
She is survived by her parents, Robert and Grethen JOHNSON of Council Bluffs; sister, Amy BONES; niece, Alicia BONES; cousins, Carla and Philip ECHANDI all of Omaha, NE; aunt, Elinor STURGEON and husband EDMAN of Grand Junction, CO and their children.
