Serviced Held Wednesday

Last rites for Anna Hass were held at the Blust-Berthusen funeral home Wednesday, June 1, with the Rev. Joseph Gerlt in charge of the services. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery. Miss Hass died at a Council Bluffs hospital Sunday following a brief illness.

Anna Lucill Hass was born December 28, 1870 at Walnut, the daughter of John Hass and his wife, Catherine Frahm. She and her sister, Marie, were engaged in the millinery business in Avoca for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, John and Hans, and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Bornholdt and Marie Hass.

Miss Hass is survived by a niece, Mrs. L. M. Burkhead of Salina, Kansas; a nephew, H. J, Bornholdt of Wausa, Nebraska
