Mrs. Anna Myers Sept 1867- June 24, 1949
Rites Held June 26

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna [Goth] Myers were held from the Blust-Berthusen funeral home Sunday, June 26, with Rev Joseph Gerlt officiating. Burial was in Graceland cemetery.

Mrs. Myers died at a Council Bluffs hospital Friday, June 24, following a fall at her home in Hancock on Monday of last week.

She was born in Munich, Germany, in September of 1867. She came to this country in 1892 settling at Bellwood, Nebraska and the following year moved to Iowa.

In 1891, she married Ludwig Myers. They lived on a farm near Hancock many years and recently Mrs. Myers has lived in Hancock since retiring from the farm.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Ludwig. Survivors include four sons: Charley and George of Avoca; Adolph and Joseph of Hancock; a daughter, Mrs. Wilfred Henry of Council Bluffs; a brother, Adolf Goth of Red Cloud, Nebraska; relatives in Germany; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
