Miss Esther Petersen (1917-1949)

Last rites for Miss Esther Petersen, 32, will be held at the family home in Avoca Friday at 2 pm with the Rev Joseph Gerlt, pastor of the First Lutheran church, in charge of the services. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.

Miss Petersen died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Matthias Petersen, Wednesday, April 6, following a brief illness. She was born March 16, 1917, and lived all her life in Avoca.

Esther is survived by her parents, a brother, Matt Petersen of Omaha; three sisters: Mrs. Marie Kllindt of Harlan; Mrs. Dorothy Krummell of Avoca; and Mrs. Ruby Bamesberger of Council Bluffs; and several nieces and nephews.

A brother, John, preceded her in death in 1921.
