Clayton G. Elam

Clayton Garry Elam, 47, of Council Bluffs died Jan. 29.

Mr. Elam was born in Council Bluffs. He was a roofer at construction.

Survivors include two sisters, Velda Scott and Beverly K. Griffis and husband, Steve, both of Council Bluffs; two brothers, Melvin L. Elam and wife, Joni, of Shell Knob, Mo., and Roger Elam of Harlan; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

Visitation with the family will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home.

Funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Howard Pruitt officiating. Burial will be in Calhoun Cemetery in Calhoun.

Memorials may be offered to Church of God of Prophecy.
