MRS. MINNIE HEESCH 1885-1934

Minnie Wisch, the oldest daughter of Henry Wisch and his wife, Wilhelmina Schultz was born July 29, 1885 in Shelby county, Iowa, and passed to her eternal home last Wednesday evening, July 18, 1934 at the State Hospital, Clarinda, Iowa; having thus reached the age of 49 years, 11 months, and 20 days.

On February 1, 1905, she was married to Fred Heesch and resided then on the old Heesch farm west of Avoca until 1929 when they moved to this city.

Though Mrs. Heesch ever was of a cheerful nature and always willing to share her portions with others, she was not in the best of health. And after they moved to Avoca, it seemed as though the local hospitals were not able to render her very much service, thus she was taken in the year 1931 to the State Hospital, where since she has made her abode.

Those who remain to mourn her death are her husband, Mr. Fred Heesch; three daughters: Mrs. Meta Johnson; five sisters, Meta Christensen, Davenport, Iowa; Anna Kitrick, Emma Niemann, Avoca Iowa; Bertha Neumann, Boulder, Colorado; Elsie Holder, Denver, Colorado; a brother, George Wish, Chicago, Illinois; and two grandchildren: Donald and Darlene Johnson together with a host of friends.
