Hertha A. Gross
(November 10, 1886 - April 1970)

AVOCA---Mrs. Hertha A. Gross, 83, died Tuesday at a Harlan hospital following a three week long illness.
Services will be at 10 am Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. LaVern Wingert officiating and burial at Graceland Cemetery.
A rosary will be said at 8 pm at the Berthusen-Knutson Funeral Home.
Survivors include a brother, Henry Voss of Marsden, Saskatchewan, Canada, four sisters, Mrs. Martha Harris and Mrs. Minnie Vogt, both of Avoca, Mrs. Alma Loy of Marsden, Saskatchewan, Canada, Mrs. Margaret Short of Omaha, and nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Gross was born and raised in Avoca and lived her entire life in the Avoca-Shelby area.
