Services Held for Mrs. Wm. Gross
(September 10, 1891 - March 21, 1952)

Rev. E. J. Schuman officiated at the Requiem High mass at St. Mary’s church in Avoca Monday for Mrs. William Gross.
Mrs. Gross died at her home in Avoca Friday night following a brief illness. She was born at Carson and was 61 years old.
Survivors include, 3 daughters, Mrs. Paul Wise, Mrs. James Leslie, and Mrs. Marion Weinmann, all of Avoca’ one son, Bernard of Avoca; 14 grandchildren’ one sister, Mrs. Will Lyman of Minden’ five brothers, Andrew H. Ring of Atlantic, Joe Ring of Neola, George Ring of Neola, Jake Ring of Bentley, and Frank Ring of Carson.
Her husband preceded her in death December 25, 1944.
Burial was in the Avoca cemetery.

We wish to express our sincere appreciation to our friends and relatives for the many kind and helpful deeds and expressions of sympathy extended to us. Also Mass Cards, floral tributes and food which we received at the time of the death of our beloved mother.
