Shirley Ann WILLIAMS passed away Thursday, October 23, 2008 in Claremont, CA having attained the age of 58 years, 6 months and 13 days.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 1 at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca, IA. Internment was in the Graceland Cemetery in Avoca.

Shirley Ann WILLIAMS, the daughter of Ronald & Ivy DYLIS BOWLER SUTTON, was born on April 10, 1950 in Council Bluffs, IA. She was baptized and confirmed at the United Methodist Church.

She attended school in Avoca and graduated from AvoHa High School. After graduation she attended Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs and received her degree in nursing.

Shirley was united in marriage to Michael WILLIAMS on February 25, 1969 in Griswold, IA. To this union two daughters were born: Brenda and Annette.

She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Michael WILLIAMS of Omaha, NE; her children: Brenda and her husband Ravi SOOKDEO of Claremont, CA and Annette and her husband Scott BRADLEY of Omaha; six grandchildren, Stefanie, Alexa and Brandon SOOKDEO and Brea, Ashley and Scotty BRADLEY; brother Harvey SUTTON and his wife Brenda of Omaha; sisters: Bernice and her husband Gary WHITE of Bremerton, WA and Laurie and her husband Clarence McCANN of Bartlesville, OK; many nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
