Virginia M. "Ginny" Cook, age 78, of Council Bluffs, passed away October 8, 2008, at the Hospice House in Omaha.

Ginny was born April 27, 1930, in Council Bluffs to the late Clarence and Evelyn (Benson) Tague. She was a hostess at Sapp Brothers and a member of Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints.

Ginny was preceded in death by brothers, Albert Tague and George Smith.

She is survived by son, Jeff Mass (Bobette Ross) of Omaha; grandson, RJ Mass; and numerous other grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Park of Ogden, Utah; dear friends, Velma Slotten of Boise, Idaho, Big Mike of Council Bluffs and nephews.

Visitation with the family, Friday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral service, Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment Grange Cemetery, Honey Creek. The family will direct memorials.
