In Memory: Thomas H. Evers

Thomas H. Evers, 44, of Little Sioux died May 15 at Alegent Health Immanuel Hospital in Omaha. He lived in Council Bluffs for most of his life.

Mr. Evers was born in Omaha to Harris and Norma (Breeling) Evers on August 18, 1957, and graduated from St. Albert high School in 1976.

He was a car salesman for Woodhouse Ford in Blair, Nebraska for the last five years of his life and a Catholic.

Survivors include his wife Toni; three daughters, Jamie Bolton, Samantha and Bailey Evers, all of Little Sioux, a son, Christopher Bolton of Blair; his parents, Harris and Norma Evers of Council Bluffs; three sisters, Cheryl Williams, Shelly Oliver and Lisa Evers, all of Council Bluffs; three brothers, Tim Evers and wife, Marie, of Neola, Mark Evers and wife, Teresa, of Council Bluffs, Mathew Evers and wife, Celeste, of Suisun, California; nieces and nephews.

A rosary recitation was held Sunday at Belford-O’Neill Funeral Home in Council Bluffs with visitation following.

Funeral services were held Monday at St. Peter’s Church with the Rev. Mike Berner officiating. Burial was at Little Sioux Cemetery with a lunch following at Nealy Hall in Little Sioux.
