In Memory: Dorothy L. Kruse
(November 25, 1908 - May 15, 2002)

The funeral for Dorothy L. Kruse, 93, of Council Bluffs was held Monday morning at Cutler Chapel with the Rev. Roger Prescott officiating.

Mrs. Kruse died May 15 at Southwest Iowa Medical Center.

Born in Louisville, Kentucky, to Louis and Frone (Connor) Wiedeman. She was a 1928 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs. She was a homemaker and long-time member of St. John Lutheran Church.

Her husband, Clarence, died in 1964.

Survivors include three daughters, Sue Hemmingsen and husband, Roger, of Neola, Marie Lindon of Shelby, and Virginia Johnson and husband, Robert, of Council Bluffs; two sons, Jim and wife, Patricia, of Alameda, California, and Warren and wife, Sandra, of Council Bluffs; 18 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family was held Sunday evening at Cutler Chapel. Burial was in the Mineola Cemetery, followed by a lunch at St. John Lutheran Church.

Memorials may be offered to St. John Lutheran Church.
