Veldyne Haselwood

NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. - The funeral for Veldyne E. Haselwood, 79, of Percival will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Gude Mortuary in Nebraska City.

She died Jan. 21 at her daughter's home in Council Bluffs.

She was born April 20, 1923, in Palmer, Neb., to Winferd C. and Ethel (Patton) Irwin.

Survivors include four daughters, Annabelle Glasgow, wife of the late Steve Glasgow, of Palmyra, Neb., Annette Black and husband, Ellis, of Buffalo, Wyo., Melody Hughes and husband, Bob, of Worcester, England, and Cheryl Evans and husband, Roger, of Council Bluffs; one son, Eddy Haselwood, and wife, Alice, of Pueblo, Colo.; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; stepson, James Donald, of Wisconsin; four stepgrandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Leo Irwin and wife, Gloria, of Omaha; one sister, Berdena Litkenhaus, of Omaha.

Visitation with the family will be tonight from 6 to 7 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery near Sidney.

Memorials may be offered to the Percival Rescue.
