Following is an Obituary copied from the Nonpariel dated March 13, 1974:

News of "the death of Harold R. Madison, 63, of Grandby, Mo., formerly of Council Bluffs, was received here Wednesday.

Madison died Monday at a Stella, Mo. hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born in Dunlap, he lived in Logan and Council Bluffs for several years before moving to Missouri.

Funeral services will be held in Grandby, Mo at 2 p.m. Thursday.

Survivors include his widow, Gertrude; one son, Dean of Laurel, Md.

Five daughters, Mrs. Norma Jean Rogers of Scottsdale, Ariz, Mrs. Karen Phelps of Republic, Mo., Mrs. Joan Moore of Oklahoma City, Okla. Mrs. Janice Fitzgerald of Belleville, Mich., and Mrs. Judy Tyler of Joplin, Mo.

His mother, Mayme of Council Bluffs; four sisters, Mrs. Lester Goodman, Mrs. Marjorie Hemmingsen, Mrs. Maxine Travis and Mrs. Ruth Carberry, all of Council Bluffs."
