Council Bluffs, Iowa Nonpariel dated June 27, 1965:

Requiem Mass for Francis Wayne Travis, 47, Nitro, W. Va., will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Church, with the Rev. Gary Lalor officiating. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Mr. Travis, a former resident of Council Bluffs, died at a Nitro hospital June 21.

Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Beem-Belford Chapel.

F. Wayne Travis was born 1917 to Orville Ross Travis and Ina Peryl (Carey) Travis.

He married Ruth Maxine Madison on February 18, 1941 at Council Bluffs, Iowa at St. Peter's Catholic Church.
