The following Obituary is copied form the Nonpariel dated May 15 and 16, 1980:

Southwest Iowa Deaths - Frances Hazel Goodman, 52, Route 3, died early today at a local hospital after a long illness.

She was born in McClelland and resided most of her life in Council Bluffs. She was a 1945 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School.

Survivors include her husband, John R.; two sons, Douglas and Craig; five daughters, Susan Blunk, Julie and Kimberly Goodman, all of Council Bluffs, Vicky Byron of Concord, Calif., and Debbie Swisher of Denver, Colo.; two brothers, Henry Boege of Council Bluffs, and Merle Boege of Long Beach, Calif.; four sisters, Martha Twaddle of McPherson, Kan., Joanne Behm of Council Bluffs, Ann Mayberry of Glenwood and Erma Jones of Stevensville, Mont.; and six grandchildren.

Services are pending at Beem-Belford Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian burial Monday 10:30 a.m. St. Francis Worship Center. Rev. Benedict J. Kenkel celebrant. Burial Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Rosary recitation 7:30 p.m. Sunday at mortuary. Memorials to American Cancer Society preferred.
