CHRIS C. CARBERRY, age 40, of Crescent, Iowa passed away April 19, 2008, at his home.

Chris was born March 4, 1968, in Omaha. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1968. Chris worked at Qwest Communications for 12 years. He was of the Catholic faith.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Dorlan “Blackie” Carberry in 1990; brother-in-law, Michael T. Nelson, Sr. in 2005.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Nelson; mother, Ruth Carberry both of Crescent; in-laws, Edwin and Sharon Nelson; sister-in-law, Carol Nelson all of Council Bluffs; nieces, Laycie and Lexie Riddle, Ashley Nelson; nephews, Joshua Gardner, Michael T. Nelson, Jr., Christopher Nelson; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation with the family, Tuesday, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Rev. Chuck Kottas officiating. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery with a lunch following at St. Peter’s Church Social Hall. The family will direct memorials.
