Vona M. Scott

The funeral for Vona Mae Scott, 62, of Council Bluffs will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Prescott officiating.

Mrs. Scott died Jan. 5 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

She was born Aug. 19, 1940, in Council Bluffs to Alva and Hazel (Butts) McKeighan. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Scott, on June 4, 2002, and her son, Robert Scott, in 1963.

Survivors include one daughter, Kristina McIntosh, of Kansas; four sons, Michael Scott and wife, Kathy, Richard Scott, Donald Scott and wife, Donna, and Christopher McIntosh, all of Council Bluffs; sister, Marva Dick and husband, Ervin, of Carbon Cliff, Ill., and sister Betty; three brothers, Alva McKeighan and wife, Judy, Glen McKeighan and Lonnie McKeighan, all of Council Bluffs; nine grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Friday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Garner Township with a lunch following at Mike and Kathy Scott's residence.
