Henry Robert Neve Oakland, Iowa, passed away March 27, 2008, at the Oakland Manor Nursing Home.

He was born January 13, 1917 in Shelby, Iowa. He was a farm laborer.

He is survived by his brothers, Milo (Glenola) Neve of Council Bluffs and Eldene Neve of Seattle, Wash.; sisters, Marjorie Neve and Frances (Warren) Brainard both of Coal City, Ill.

Public visitation will be Saturday, March 29, 2008, from 3:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, March 30, 2008, from 12:00 p.m. to 9 p.m., with family greeting friends Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. all at Pauley Jones Funeral Home, Avoca, Iowa. Prayer Service Sunday, March 30, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Funeral service will be Monday, March 31, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Avoca, Iowa. Interment in Graceland Cemetery, Avoca.
