The funeral for Caroline Franklin, 85, of Perry, Okla., will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home with the Rev. Evan Williams of Broadway Christian Church officiating.
Mrs. Franklin died Jan. 5 at home.
She was born Oct. 25, 1917, in Fort Dodge to Earl R. and Mary (Blum) McCullough. She lived in Council Bluffs most of her life and spent her early years in Fort Dodge. She moved to Perry in 2002. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge No. 388, serving as past Noble Grand. She was a member of the Three Links Club.
Mrs. Franklin was preceded in death by her husband, A.J., in 1984.
Survivors include three sons, John E. and wife, Carmen, of Big Fork, Mont., James E. and wife, Linda, of Perry, and Dennis R. and wife, Janice, of Council Bluffs; one sister, Earline Nelson, of Omaha; one brother, John McCullough, and wife, Kay, of Council Bluffs; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, one stepgrandchild and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with a lunch following at Broadway Christian.
