LuWella M. Morgal

LuWella M. Morgal, 85, of Council Bluffs died Jan. 3 at Indian Hills Nursing Center of natural causes.

She had previously lived in Heartwell, Neb., where she was born to Lafayette and Anna (Wise) Davis on Feb. 23, 1917.

She graduated from Heartland, Neb., High School in 1934.

She was a homemaker and a member of Emanuel Church of the Nazarene and the grandparent program at the Glenwood Resource Center.

She was preceded in death by three husbands, Thomas Miller in 1956, Elmer Briggs in 1962 and William Morgal in 1986.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas S. Miller of Council Bluffs, Charles E. Miller of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one sister, Gladys Gardner of Curtis, Neb.; nieces and nephews.

Visitation with family will be Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home.

Funeral will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Rick Blodgett, pastor of Emanuel Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery with a lunch to follow at the church.

Memorials may be offered to Emanuel Church of the Nazarene.
