Ednamae L. Hollesen

Ednamae L. Hollesen, age 87, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away March 8, 2008 at Jennie Edmundson Hospi- tal.

Ednamae was born April 6, 1920 in Minden, Iowa to the late Mike and Helena (Witt) Kadel. She married Claus Hollesen on August 15, 1945 and to this union three children were born. They farmed for 25 years in Car- son, Iowa before moving to Council Bluffs. Ednamae was a homemaker; member and volunteer at the C.B. Senior Center; Risen Son Christian Village, where she's made her home for the past nine years; and the Rebekkah's.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Claus Hollesen in 1997; son, Mike Hollesen; grandson, John Hollesen; great granddaughter, Skye McMillin; 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

Ednamae is survived by her daughter, Linda Green and husband Fred; son, Pat Hollesen and wife JoAnn, all of Council Bluffs; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family, Monday, 6-8 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral service, Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. at the mortuary with Paul Crane, Chaplain at Risen Son Christian Village officiating.

Interment in the Minden, Iowa Cemetery.

A lunch will follow at Risen Son Christian Village. The family will direct memorials.
