In Memory: Barbara Leazenby

Barbara Jean (Pabst) Leazenby, 67, of Council Bluffs died April 24 at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital.

She was born March 25, 1937, in Treynor to Arron and Yvonne (Beam) Pabst. She was a cook at various places including the 64 Club, Jennie Edmundson Hospital and Howard Johnson Motor Lodge as well as a homemaker. She loved Bingo.

Survivors include two daughters, Ermyl Leazenby of Belleville, Illinois, and Cheryl L. Leazenby and Robert Vandevort of Persia; three sons, Edward R. Leazenby and wife, Donna, of Lewis, Anthony Leazenby and wife, Wendy, and Robert G. Leazenby, all of Council Bluffs; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Beverly Ramsdell and husband, Fred, of Missouri Valley, Julia Visaya and husband, Ed, of Tabor, Regina Brown and husband, Rich, of Council Bluffs; brothers, Phillip May Jr., Ronnie May and wife, Biz, Daniel May and wife, Melissa, and Richard May, all of Council Bluffs.

Visitation with the family was held Tuesday evening at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. The funeral was held' Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial was in Garner Township Cemetery with a lunch following at the Fish and Game Club, Lake Manawa.
