In Memory: Albert C. Schue

The funeral for Albert Curtis Schue (February 2, 1924 - April 19, 2004), 80, of Avoca was held April 24 at 10:30 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Shelby with the Rev. Orris Drake officiating.

Mr. Schue died April 19 at Avoca Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born in Akron, Ohio. He lived in Avoca 18 years. He graduated in 1942 from Avoca High School and in 1960 from Michigan State College with an electrical engineering degree. He served in the Army Air Force from February 1944 until July 1946 and then with the Reserves until 1986 when he retired as lieutenant colonel. He was a sales engineer with Amco Steel Corporation for 29 years. He was a member of United Methodist Church in Shelby.

Mr. Schue and his wife, Corinne Lois Schue, were married 68 years.

Survivors in addition to his wife include sons, Robert Schue of Minneapolis and Richard Schue and wife, Margaret, of Carmel, Indiana; four grandchildren.

Burial was in the Shelby Cemetery with military rites conducted by Offutt Air Force Base Color Guard from Bellevue, Nebraska.

Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be offered to Shelby United Methodist Church in Shelby.
