In Memory: Donald Jarvis

Donald Jarvis, 92, of Persia died February 15, 2004 at home.

He was born September 10, 1911 in Harrison County to William and Gertrude (Jones) Jarvis. He married Zelma M. Jarvis February 6, 1936 in Council Bluffs. They lived and farmed in the Persia area all their lives.

Survivors include his daughter Arlee Mae Parsons and her husband Ray of Persia; grandson, Kirk Parsons and his wife Pam of Persia; granddaughter Sheila Powell and her husband Matt of Missouri Valley; and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family was Tuesday evening with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan.

The funeral was to be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Community of Christ Church in Persia.

Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery at Persia.
