In Memory: Grace G. Jensen

Grace G. Jensen, 92, of rural Council Bluffs, died October 9 at Indian Hills Nursing Center.

She was born March 26, 1911, in Garner Township to Peter H. and Anna M. (Miller) Jorgensen. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran, Boomer Township.

Mrs. Jensen was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Arthur Jensen, on August 12, 1985. They were married 44 years.

Survivors include two sons, Dean Jensen and wife, Debbie, and Gerald Jensen and wife, LaVera, all of Council Bluffs; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mabel Collins of Council Bluffs and Geraldine Hegr of Madison, Nebraska; two brothers, George Jorgensen and wife, Margaret, of Council Bluffs and James Jorgensen and wife, Margaret, of Tucson, Arizona; nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family was held Sunday evening at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. The funeral was held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Boomer Township, with the Rev. Charles Bichel officiating.

Burial was in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at the church.
