In Memory: Dorothy L. Darnold

Dorothy L. Darnold, 57, of Fort Collins, Colorado, died August 9 in Fort Collins.

She was born July 9, 1946, in Council Bluffs to Edward Darnold and Edith Storey. She graduated in 1964 from Tri-Center High School in Neola. She moved to Fort Collins two years ago, coming from Council Bluffs. She worked in accounts payable for the Council Bluffs School District for 31 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Dani Heller, and husband, Kurt, of Fort Collins; one sister, Leana Christoffersen, and husband, Paul, of Underwood; grandchildren; Nicole Heller and Andrew Heller both of Fort Collins; and three nephews.

A reception was held at noon August 12 at John 23rd University Center in Ft. Collins. Allnutt Funeral Service/Drake Road Chapel, Ft. Collins was in charge of arrangements.
