Delores E. Henry

Delores Evelyn Henry, 72, died Dec. 28 at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs.

A lifelong resident, she was born Oct. 7, 1930, to Paul and Viola (Gittins) Brown. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1948.

She was a homemaker and was a member of Fifth Avenue Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Henry, in 1999.

She is survived by one daughter, Patty Rocha, and husband, Martin, of Council Bluffs; two sons, Michael and wife, JoAnne, and Bruce and wife, Yevonne, all of Council Bluffs; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Phyllis Havekost, Beverly Caruso, Gloria Heistand and her husband, Francis, all of Council Bluffs, and Judy Grovum and her husband, Blaine, of Omaha; two brothers, Merle Brown and his wife, Pearl, of Glenwood, and Denny Brown and his wife, Wanda, of New Iberia, La.;

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home, with the Rev. Edward Clevenger of the Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be at Ridgewood Cemetery, with a luncheon following at Fifth Avenue Methodist Church.

Visitation with family will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the mortuary.

Memorials may be made to Fifth Avenue Methodist Church.
