Paul D. Robertson

The funeral for Paul Daniel Robertson, 69, of Council Bluffs will be 11 a.m. Monday at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home with the Rev. Anne Marie Aita officiating.

Mr. Robertson died Dec. 23 at his home.

He was born Sept. 10, 1933, to Lawrence Robertson and Lyle Robinson in Omaha. He graduated from Omaha North High School in 1952 and later served in the Navy. He worked as a mechanic for the Omaha Postal Service for 31 years before he retired in 1988. He had lived in Council Bluffs for 44 years.

He and his wife, Barbara (Rochon), were married for 47 years.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Robertson, in 1977.

Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters, Cheryl Robertson and husband, David, of Cabin John, Md., and Rene Robertson of Orange Park, Fla.; a son, Scott and wife, Kay, of Olathe, Kan.; three sisters, Lois Andrus and husband, Lew, of Bainbridge Island, Wash., Ruth Walsworth of Garden City, Kan., and Clara Adlesic of Las Vegas; a brother, Herk and wife, Pat, of Omaha; and grandchildren Khyra and Kevin Robertson of Olathe.

Visitation with the family will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at Dodge Memorial Congregational Church.
