Council Bluffs, May 6, 1995. Laura Ann BAKER, 92, died May 6; she was born in Burwell, Nebraska. Preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lee Baker in 1956. Survivors include daughters, Lucille SARRATT of Phoenix and Alice KLINE of Omaha; a son, Dean BAKER of California; sister Frances FOWLER of Nebraska; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Burial at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, with services by Rev. Delbert Story of Hazel Dell United Methodist Church. end

Note to researchers: Laura Ann MAGERS BAKER was born Dec 19, 1902, at Burwell, Nebraska, a twin sister to Lettie MAGERS, daughters of Elmer and Alice (McMAHON) MAGERS. Elmer MAGERS was the son of Elza and Elizabeth MAGERS (MAJORS) originally of Kentucky. Alice was the daughter of Owen and Julia (TURLEY) McMAHON, of Irish ancestry.
