Council Bluffs, April 13, 1959. Albert Lee BAKER, 79, died Monday at a local hospital following a five month illness. Born at Glenwood, he was a Council Bluffs resident 50 years. Mr. Baker was a retired employe of the City Water Works. Survivors include, widow, Laura; two daughters, Mrs. Lucille SARRATT of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. Alice KLINE of Omaha; four sons, Jim of El Monte, Calif., Dean of San Diego, Calif., Robert and Vernon, both of Council Bluffs; brother, Wayne of Ford, Wash.; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Cutler Chapel. Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Cemetery. end

Note to researchers: Claude Albert Lee BAKER was born at Glenwood, Iowa, October 10, 1879, son of James K. Baker and Lucy (LYONS) BAKER of Glenwood. James K. BAKER was the son of Asbury BAKER and Helena ANDERSON BAKER.
