Louise Voss

AVOCA - Louise Voss, 78, of Hancock died Dec. 18 at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital.

She was born in Macedonia. She was a 1941 graduate of Macedonia High School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Hancock Legion Auxiliary.

Mrs. Voss and her husband, Donavon, were married 59 years.

Survivors in addition to her husband include one daughter, Ann L. Vandivort and husband, Mark, of Underwood; nine sons, Donavon H. Jr. and wife, Donna, of Lawrenceville, Ga., Richard E. and wife, Bettie, of Antioch, Calif., Robert A. and wife, Diane, of Ashland, Neb., Gary L. and wife, Sue, of Lincoln, Neb., John F. and wife, Vicki, of Omaha, David J. and wife, Theresa, of Dahlonaga, Ga., Joseph L. and wife, Suzanna, of Norwalk, Paul D. and wife, Lori, of Council Bluffs and Roger M. and wife, Diane, of Roanoake, Va.; one sister, Frances Hooker, of Grand Island, Neb.; two brothers, Martin Herbert and wife, Beverly, and Leo Herbert and wife, Alice, all of Council Bluffs.

Visitation with the family will be Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. with a wake service at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev. John Frost officiating at Knutson Funeral Home in Avoca. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Avoca with the Rev. Frost officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Hancock.
