Ronald L. Weaver

MISSION, Texas - Ronald Lee Weaver, 71, of Mission, Texas, died Dec. 10 at McAllen Heart Hospital in McAllen, Texas.

He was born Nov. 23, 1931, in Hamilton, Ohio. He was a sergeant major in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Weaver and his wife, Ann (Erdman), formerly of Council Bluffs, were married April 30, 1976.

Survivors in addition to his wife include five daughters, Caryn Chamber and husband, Richard, of Bakersfield, Calif., Linda Calmes of Greersferry, Ark., Teresa Schlautman and husband, John, of Omaha, Mary Ramsdell of Council Bluffs and Barbara Richardson and husband, Greg, of Council Bluffs; one son, Steve Eckel, and wife, Shari, of Radcliffe; one sister, Sandy Yambrich, and husband, Steve, of Hamilton; one brother, Greg Weaver, of Charlotte, N.C.; 13 grandchildren.

Cremation services are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission.
