William (Boink) R. Lockard, 57, passed December 11, 2007 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

William was born January 31, 1950 in Sedalia, Mo. He was a life long resident of Council Bluffs.

He was preceded in death by his sister Patricia L. Fichter and mother-in-law, Trudy Allison.

William is survived by his wife, Wendy; 3 sons, Scott and William J., of Council Bluffs and Eric Webb, stationed in Gulfport, Mississippi; 3 daughters, Marjorie and Barbara, of Council Bluffs, and Naomi, of Omaha; parents, William T. and Donna R. Lockard, of Hamburg, Iowa; 2 brothers, John and Francine Lockard, of Omaha, and Dennis, of Hamburg, Iowa; 2 sisters, Sandra and Danny Vincent, of Council Bluffs and Carolyn and William Nielsen, of Hamburg. He also had 8 grandkids. Also, William had very special and lifelong friends, Allen and Diane Jackson, of Council Bluffs, Barbara J. Newberry, of Weston and Larry Charleston, of Logan, Iowa. He also hosted several nieces and nephews and other friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Maher-Livingston Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, 2 p.m. Funeral Chapel with interment following at Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family.
