Diane Lynn Buckland, age 54, of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away December 5, 2007, at her home.

Diane was born October 9, 1953, in Wichita, Kansas to Glenn and Geraldine (Morrill) Engel. She graduated from Huron, South Dakota High School in 1971 and the Chicago School of Interior Decorating in 1973. She was a distibutor for American Classifieds for the past 3 years and a member of the Lutheran faith.

Diane was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Engel.

She is survived by her daughter, Casey Buckland; sons, Cody and Kelly Buckland, all of Bellevue, Neb.; mother and stepfather, Geraldine and Ray Seigenthaler, of Huron, S.D.; brother, Brett Engel, of Des Moines, Iowa; grandmother, Mable Seigenthaler, Hudon, S.D.; half sister, Tonya Larson, of Brookings, S.D.; and half-brother, Bill Engel and wife, Tina, of Valley, Neb.

Visitation with the family, Saturday, 1-2 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church, 14955 Somerset Ave. Council Bluffs. Funeral Service, Saturday, 2:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. David Weesner, pastor officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow. Interment, Monday, 2:00 p.m. in Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Huron, S.D.
