John P. Hollesen, age 17, passed away November 25, 2007.

John was born on May 16, 1990, in Council Bluffs to Patrick and JoAnn (Adkins) Hollesen. John was a junior at Lewis Central High School and enjoyed pottery, walking in the woods with his dog, video games, watching movies with his dad, his cat, hanging out with his best friend, Logan, music and art.

John was looking forward to his senior trip with his art class to Europe next year. John belonged to Skills USA Club at Lewis Central.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Claus Hollesen, and his grandparents LeRoy and Lillian Adkins.

Survivors include his parents, Pat and JoAnn; sister, Sarah; grandmother, Edna Mae Hollesen, all Council Bluffs; many cousins, aunts and uncles and friends.

Visitation Wednesday 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral services Thursday 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church. Interment Minden, Iowa Cemetery.
