Gary L. Sieburg

The funeral for Gary L. Sieburg, 57, of Council Bluffs will be Saturday at 9 a.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Chapel with the Rev. Ed Clevenger of Fifth Avenue Methodist Church officiating.

Mr. Sieburg died Dec. 4 at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital.

He was born Sept. 14, 1945, in Council Bluffs to Laurence F. and Pearl (Hetrick) Sieburg. He was a 1964 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School. He was a retired superintendent for Union Pacific Railroad Headquarters in Omaha. He retired in September 2001 after 37 years service.

Survivors include his parents of Council Bluffs; companion, Judi Crouse, of Council Bluffs; cousins.

Visitation with the family will be tonight from 7 to 8 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to Meals on Wheels.
