Larry K. Wineland (1937-2007)

Larry K. Wineland, age 70, passed away October 23, 2007.

He was born June 1, 1937, in Logan, Iowa, to Bert and Alice Wineland. Larry served his country in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He lived in Carter Lake for many years and worked as a sheet metal worker for Eaton Metal.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include daughter, LaNette Coffelt, who was Larry's caregiver of Omaha; sons, Bob and his wife, Carole of Council Bluffs, Larry and his wife, Connie of Avoca, Iowa; his grandchildren; sisters, Kay Kistner and husband, Ron, Christy Anville and husband, Gordy, all Omaha, Carly Novak of Elk Horn, Iowa; brother, Jack Scott, Jr. of Omaha.

VFW Military rites Friday 6:00 p.m. followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Larry will be cremated.
