Jennie K. Butcher, age 56, Council Bluffs, formerly of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away October 25, 2007, following a long illness with MS and a short illness with cancer. Jennie was born April 12, 1951, Sioux City, to the late Cecil and Rachel McClure.

She married Ronald W. Butcher, September 6, 1968, Seattle, Wash. The couple lived in Seattle and Sioux City, and she moved to Council Bluffs, in 2002. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald (1999); three sisters: Cynthia Kinney, Lisa Doell, and Paula Kinney.

Survivors include sons, Aaron Butcher (Shana), Sioux City, Steven Butcher, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; one daughter, Paulette Russell (Josh), Denver, Colo.; three brothers, Cecil Kinney (Lana), Conrad Kinney (Vivian), all of Seattle, Roger Kinney, Sioux City; two sisters, Lois Kinney and special friend, Marsha Stark, Sioux City, and Sheila Kinney, Fontana, Calif.; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; four sisters-in-law, Elsie Larsen, Council Bluffs, Helen Cureton and May Lanegan, Doris Brodersen, all of Washington; brother-in-law, Jack Butcher, Bothell, Wash.

Services were held, Saturday, Becker-Hunt Funeral Home, with Rev. Trina Kinney officiating. Burial was at Omaha Valley Cemetery.
