Janet Rae Baxter, age 58, passed away October 23, 2007.

Janet was born September 26, 1949 to Nuel and Faye (Thayer) Burgess, in Onawa, Iowa. Janet was preceded in death by her father.

Janet will be sadly missed by her husband of 37 years, Jerry Baxter; son, Tim Baxter and wife Laury; daughter, Lisa Hiers and husband Tom, Jr.; grandchildren, Sebastian, Tyler, Brett, and Madison; mother, Faye Jensen; siblings, Kristine Harrill, Stanley Burgess and wife Sheryl, Denise Luttrell, Randall Burgess, and Brian Jensen; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, at Maher-Livingston Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Calhoun Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
