Gerald W. "Gonzo" Gilmore, age 58, Carter Lake, Iowa passed away October 12, 2007.

He was born in Omaha on October 1, 1949, to Edward and Adeline Gilmore. Gerald graduated from T.J.H.S. in 1968 and spent 2 years in the US Navy. Gerald worked for Malnove Company in Omaha.

He is preceded in death by his father Edward.

Survivors include his wife Margaret "Marge" whom he married on March 21, 1986; daughter, Kristi Gilmore, of Madison, Wis.; sons, Bob Mantell and wife, Kristen, of Treynor, Iowa, Mike Mantell and wife, Michelle, of Shelby, Iowa, seven grandchildren; mother, Adeline Gilmore; brothers, Ed Gilmore and wife, Linda, all of Overland Park, Kan., Charles Gilmore and wife, Marcia, of Hot Springs, Ark., James Gilmore, of Madison, Wis.

Visitation Thursday 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral services Friday 11:00 a.m. also at Funeral Home. Interment Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery, Omaha.
