Charles H. Jefferis, Sr., age 81, passed away October 15, 2007.

Charles was born January 31, 1926, in Council Bluffs, to Vernie and Edna (Mortensen) Jefferis.

Charles will be sadly missed by his wife of 64 years, Lorena Jefferis; children, Dennis Jefferis and wife, Sue, Charlene Taylor and husband, Greg, Judy Smith and husband, Dave, Jim Jefferis and wife, Darlene, Kevin Jefferis and wife, Paula, Kenny Jefferis, Debbie Jefferis, Chuck Jefferis and wife, Jessica; 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; siblings, Jacqueline Goos, of Council Bluffs, Vernon Jefferis, of Colo., and Don Jefferis, of Ore.; and a host of family and friends.

Memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 18th, at The Eagles Club, 1530 Ave F., in Council Bluffs.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
